![]() Don't settle for unreasonable digital media pricing. It costs them nothing to drop the price from $39 to $4 since digital only subscriptions require such minimal overhead in the first place. I wanted to share for anyone who may be a subscriber: Don't take their first offer. I agreed on the condition that they refund the $39 I was going to be charged for this month, and they agreed. I said no, and then they offered to drop it back down to $4 for 6 months, and then $19 for 6 months after that. asked me if I'd like to renew if they dropped the price to $19 per month. I told them I was not interested in subscribing, and the rep. They want to make it more difficult to cancel, and like to entice you into staying subscribed. WSJ customer service requires you to call to cancel your subscription, so I did. Last year I saw a promo where I could get a digital only WSJ subscription for $4 per month (when it normally costs $38.99.) I like reading business news and $4 is reasonable to me for quality articles, so I got the subscription until it ran out this month and my subscription auto-renewed at $39.
